War of Words Wednesday: Summer Reading
Since I’ve been posting about summer - with the heat on its way - I’m curious to know what you look for in a summer read:
Something compelling which can take a few days or something quick and light?
And a follow-up question, what’s your most favorite summer read ever?
I’ll start. When I was 12 years old, I read Gone With the Wind. A little risque, for sure, for a 12 year old, though maybe not by today’s standards. I remember being so enamored with the story. I would sit outdoors on the deck and read and read.

Light is brilliant–I actually usually go for something geared towards children. That means (almost always anyway) that it’ll at least have a happy ending. Right now, my summer reading list is comprised of books other people tell me I “HAVE” to read. i’d be more than grateful to have a few more to read though if you have any suggestions. I admit I may be a tad obsessed with books
