Kelly

When I was a little girl, I used to hide under my blankets at night and read Nancy Drew books with a flashlight. I was completely obsessed with books.
I seem to have passed that love for books along to my children. Katie, my oldest daughter, was attached to some kind of reading material - even newspapers would do - practically from birth. You can see what Katie’s reading (and everyone else in the household) at any given time here.
My husband and I have three children (Katie, Amy and Charlie) and a dog (Lyle) all thrown together into a home in Philadelphia. My husband and I work together as attorneys at our own firm and have managed to stay married nonetheless.
I love to travel and dream of some day appearing on the Amazing Race. I like to dig in the dirt, and occasionally raise a decent flower or two in my garden. I also enjoy the occasional martini, but somehow listing drinking as a hobby while in your 30s just sounds sad.
In my spare time, I blog. A lot. It’s a sickness. You can check out my current blogs here:
Tiny Treasury - a 451 Press blog
Lawmummy - the blog that got it all started
Taxgirl - tax policy, tax news, tax info and it’s not as boring as you think!
I also write. My first novel is finished (hooray!) and I’m currently looking for an agent. Anyone? Bueller? I am in the throes of my second novel now. Both books are works of legal fiction with some humor and romance thrown in for good measure.
Did I mention that I drink a lot of coffee?
And psst, don’t forget to check out these fabulous links or our list of Friday Fifteen participants!
